A rare second innings marathon in Tests by India
466 - India's second innings total at The Oval. It is the second-highest total for India in their second innings in England, behind the 510 all out in Leeds in 1967. The 466 total is the highest for India in Tests in England since their 664 in 2007, also at The Oval.
6 - No. 8 batters to score fifties in both innings of a Test match, including Shardul Thakur at The Oval. He is the third Indian player with this feat after Harbhajan Singh in Ahmedabad in 2010 and Wriddhiman Saha at Eden Gardens in 2016, both against New Zealand.
2009 - The last time India posted a second innings total higher than 466 was against New Zealand in Napier, where they put on 476 for 4 to save the Test while following on. The latest effort is their first 400-plus total in the second innings since the 421 all out against South Africa in 2013.

Only two times did India bat longer in the second innings of a Test in England - 209.2 overs in Leeds in 1967 and 150.5 overs at The Oval in 1979.
2015 - The last instance of England bowling 148.2 or more overs in a Test innings at home was against Australia in the 2015 Lord's Test. It is also the longest they bowled in the second innings of the visitors since the 167 overs against South Africa in the 2008 Lord's Test.
