The players were first under lockdown in the dressing room at Hagley Oval, before making it safely to their hotel.
All members of the Bangladesh Cricket Team in Christchurch, are safely back in the hotel following the incident of shooting in the city.

News emerged that the third Test, scheduled to begin on Saturday, would be cancelled.
