SA's record chase, and Mushfiqur's favourite batting position

0 - Number of higher targets chased down without losing a wicket in ODIs. The previous record for highest target chased in a ten-wicket win was 255, by England against Sri Lanka at Edgbaston last year. The previous highest for South Africa was only 189, against India in Kolkata in 2005.

2 - Number of higher opening stands in ODIs than the unbeaten 282 that Hashim Amla and Quinton de Kock added in this match. Sanath Jayasuriya and Upul Tharanga hold the record - they added 286 against England at Headingley in 2006, while Travis Head and David Warner added 284 against Pakistan earlier this year in Adelaide.

11 - Instances of Bangladesh losing an ODI by 10 wickets, the most by any team. Zimbabwe are next with seven such defeats. This was Bangladesh's third such defeat against South Africa, while they have lost by 10 wickets twice each against Sri Lanka and Australia.

6 - Instances of both South African openers scoring hundreds in an ODI. There have been two such instances this year - de Kock (109) and Amla (154) got centuries against Sri Lanka in Centurion in February - while four out of six twin hundreds have happened since the start of 2015.

5 - ODI centuries for Mushfiqur Rahim. Among Bangladesh batsmen, only two - Tamim Iqbal (9) and Shakib Al Hasan (7) - have scored more hundreds. Mushfiqur's unbeaten 110 is his second-highest ODI score, after his 117 against India in Fatullah in 2014.
